USMLE Step 2 Review Program

Solidaridad Sin Fronteras offers a comprehensive preparation program for the USMLE Step 2 exam, designed for internationally trained physicians undergoing the credential validation process in the United States.

It is important to note that the certificate issued by SSF does not replace or equate to the official USMLE Step 2 exam. To advance in the licensure process, participants must register for and pass the exam administered by the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

💡 Passing Step 1 is not required to enroll in the course or to take Step 2 before the corresponding board.

The program is offered 100% online, with a duration of 6 months, and includes weekly theoretical classes, digital resources, and practice exams focused on clinical knowledge applied to real-world scenarios.

Upon completion, participants receive personalized, step-by-step guidance to properly register with the ECFMG and schedule their exam at an authorized testing center.

Participant Activities – USMLE Step 2 Program

Participants in the USMLE Step 2 program engage in academic activities designed to strengthen clinical knowledge and maximize performance on the official exam. These include:

Weekly virtual classes over a 6-month period, led by instructors specialized in clinical medicine
Intensive study of key topics: internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and public health
Practice with USMLE Step 2 CK–style questions, including clinical reasoning, patient management, and differential diagnosis
Periodic mock exams to evaluate participant progress
Access to digital resources such as question banks, clinical guidelines, visual aids, and summarized study materials

📌 This program is open to physicians with or without Step 1 completed.

Process

This is a virtual program consisting of one weekly class over a period of 6 months. The classes are designed to prepare students in the clinical knowledge evaluated in the USMLE Step 2 CK exam, which focuses on the practical application of medicine in real-world scenarios.

Course content includes internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry, gynecology, public health, and patient management.

The exam is theoretical, conducted entirely in English, and administered at authorized testing centers such as Prometric.
